Solution to stop child labor:

Solution to stop child labor:
1) Increased family incomes.

2) Education - That helps children learn skills that will help them earn a living .Children need to learn how to read and write. They need social and professional skills that only school and a nurturing environment can provide. Some countries have compulsory schooling and some provide free public schooling. However, in many countries, particularly for those where structural adjustment lending has led to the privatization of schools-the cost of teaching, books, and uniforms makes it impossible for children to get an education.

3) Social Services - That helps children and families survive crises such as diseases or loss of home and shelter.

4) Family Control or Fertility - So that families are not burdened by children.

5) Eliminate poverty - Boycotting is not the solution because it forces children, who otherwise have no specific training, to quit their jobs and return to the streets or to more dangerous activities.

6) Enforce labor laws - Most countries have laws against child labor; however, some governments support child labor (regardless of existing laws) as a way of gaining a competitive market advantage. Preventing children from working is not necessarily the best solution; children may end up in worse situations and their families may become even poorer.

7) Abolish child trafficking
Everywhere in the world, there are adults who earn a living by buying and selling children. The governments of all countries must take harsh measures against child trafficking.

8) Promote fair trade Fair trade practices guarantee a fair price to small-scale producers. In 44 developing countries, fair trade helps keep 550 co-operatives in business. These co-operatives consequently provide goods to 5 million people and often reinvest profits in the community, where the money is used to build schools, medical clinics, wells, etc.

9) Replace child workers by adult workers - There are 800 million unemployed adults in the world; and yet, the number of working children is estimated to be at over 300 million.

Laws for Child labor

Laws for Child labor
If child labor is a crime, why do we see so many children below 14 years of age working openly in tea shops, restaurants, pulling rickshaws? Etc.  Why do the police not take action action these shop owners?
Is the average Indian to blame for the pathetic state of these children in India?
The police are too busy to act without receiving actual complaints.
Yes totally!! Cause of their "don't give a damn unless it's your neck" attitude.

The police do take appropriate actions from time to time by enlisting such children in schools and there are several govt. mechanisms and policies to pull children out of work and educate them. The main culprit is the public indifference towards the matter and it escalates to administrative indifference.

WHY?

The main reason being the average Indian is a self centered narcissist. Ask any educated/semi-educated, for that matter a sensible illiterate Indian what they feel about child labor - he will vehemently speak against it and bitch about the government being inefficient and lax, gives ideas and suggestions and even swears at those evil mean and women who put fragile hands into work - whilst helping himself in a chai dabba where a child laborer served him - not mindful of it the least bit.

Only when we feel indignant about this social evil, will there be any sort of meaningful change.

Tiny criminals

Tiny criminals
As above article showed the causes of child labor there is a darker shade of child labor that is they turn to the dark lane of crime. There are some unsocial elements that use them as a toy of crime. The reason behind is there are very lenient laws for these juvenile criminals.
Some of examples are the nirbhaya rape case. There were 5 rapists out of them 1 was underage he also was equal guilty for his sin but cause of his age he got concession and they sent them children’s home. So here we see if a person who is underage got the concession.
Government has to give more attention to these cases where an underage kid dares to do such crime. Question remains the same what should we do to stop all this nonsense. We have the remote control we can stop this.

It is our duty to see our child’s future and also to protect them from some unsocialite element

Who are responsible for child labor ?

6
Who are responsible for child labor?

We have to be practical as education alone cannot solve child labor crisis. Child labor is as a result of low or no family income. Generation of employment to rural women and men would rather help reducing this crisis. 'Child labor' children consider themselves as financial contributors to protect parents & family. This site seeks to move beyond just saying child labor is wrong, to understand the social conditions that lead to children being forced to work.
Some percentage of child labor comes from brutality/ harassments by parents or stepparents. They are mainly from urban areas of poor’s. This percentage is too less and easily controllable by penalties to such parents and children rights. But rural poverty and lack of employment or partial employment and illiteracy has given birth to majority of child labor problem.

Nearly 30% of populations in poor countries are poorest of poor who are not even able to earn enough for one day food with big family have to largely depend on children to earn and feed. Parents of these children are mainly illiterate or semi literate are unable to find jobs, which can provide enough salary. Dream of education to children is impossible unless suitable employment opportunities made available to at least one person in the family. Simply by opening schools and providing books are not sufficient measures.

What is child labor

What is child labor?

Any child under the age specified by law worldwide works full time, mentally or physically to earn forown survival or adding to family income, that interrupts child’s social development and education is called “child labour”. Any child under the age of 15 engaged in activity to feed family or self is “child labour”. ILO Convention 138 (C. 138) obligates countries to fix a minimum age for employment that should not be less than the age for completing compulsory schooling and, in any event, should not be less than 15 years. Developing countries may set the minimum age at 14. C-138 provides flexibility for countries to establish a younger minimum age of 12 or 13 for children to partake in “light work.” Children’s participation in economic activity - that does not negatively affect their health and development or interfere with education, can be positive.  Work that does not interfere with education (light work) is permitted from the age of 12 years under the International Labour Organization (ILO) Convention 138. So child engaged in part time work to learn practical skill linked to social or inherited custom or crafts is not child labor. It becomes “child labour” only when child weaves carpet or works in a factory or fully involved in employment; earns money  for own survival or to support family without schooling, social development. On the other hand if child works for 3-4 hours to learn or earn for self or parents after schooling, would not be known as child labour as is additional education and practical skill that a child learns.  Definition of elements of worst forms of child labour- all types of slavery, forceful hiring of children, commercial and sexual exploitation of children, hard working condition. With the change of world order future education system would be more practical than present system of theory from books and notebooks. Each child would be encouraged to involve in practical education that gives skill to survive in competitive world.

Government Policies for child right

4
Government Policies for child right.

According to Indian constitution every citizen (18+) has right to choose their representative by voting it is their fundamental right. Voting right is an identity to the citizen of India. It is government’s duty to take care of their country’s demand and needs. They are supposed to take care of the rights of the children who are going to be the next responsible citizen and can be the next Mark Zukerberg of the India. There are many television programs which influenced child’s mentality.
Also, It Is our government’s duty to create such television programs which would be helpful to children and can be the reason for self motivation and their success.
And one more thing our History. Government should add some really good things from our History and they should be proud of their country and respect it.

As they are going to create new history for the country by doing amazing work for the country.Along with studies government should come up with sports activity and some kind of athletics.

child rights

What are child rights?

When we speak about “Right” we consider ourselves as a responsible citizen of the country and think about certain “Rights” which are allotted to us by our constitution. Great Leader Dr.BabaSaheb Ambedkar who is the father of our constitution has mentioned certain rights which are helpful to give justice and protect our child constitutionally.
There are many NGO’s who are fighting for child right.Mr.Kailash Sathyarthi a Nobel Prize winner he received the Nobel for his work for Child rights and he fought and still fighting to vanish child labor term from india. He has established many schools to those children who were suffered from child labor.
When we say child right we always first think about child labor.Yes, child labor is there but there are other things which affects a child’s brain. Some of the things like a bad touch, mental pressure, threatening of hi/her peers. Many children don’t speak up due to the fear. That fear direct effect their entire life.
It is our responsibility to save our child. It is our responsibility to teach them what is right and what is bad.

child grooming

2

How should be the child grooming.
Education is something which teaches us how to live our lives. Schools, colleagues are the mediums of education. Also, it influences the child’s mind and heart what they see they do, what they hear they speak. When they complete their 3 years their parents admitted them in schools and then they involved themselves in books and other academic activities. There is no age constrain for learning we learn entire life. If a child loses his interest in education the importance of education.
Indian government is taking new initiates to improve our educational standards. As a child we have to take care of child as they are not aware of bad side of the society and can divert their concentration.
We have to teach our child about society and the difference between a good touch and bad touch also, to whom they suppose to share their time and play.
Now-a-days there are many computer software’s are coming up which help our child to learn there are many websites which can help parents by giving suggestions.
At the end the question remains same as how do we groom our child.
Always consider a child’s mind and according to that we think and teach our child. If the education is proper and they make our child aware about the current affairs and what happening in society that education worth to child’s grooming and may make them a good citizen. Current policies which are there to help grooming our child that defiantly work out all we need to trust our child and make them aware.

Childhood

1
What is childhood?
Childhood is making fun of our peers, doing anything which makes us happy. It was a time when we were not worried about our future. Parents played a crucial role of teaching us do’s and don’ts and they used to teach us by giving examples. We always remember our childhood memories. It makes us happy because we know we will never experience those fun and teachings in rest of the life.
According to Indian government a child become 18+ they consider him or her as a responsible citizen of the country. However we enjoyed our 18 years of journey of turning a kid into a man or woman but do we know there are many kids who spent their life doing labor. We always used to listen in poem and stories that there is no amazing thing like childhood. Many kids take the responsibilities on their tiny shoulder as I said earlier they do labor to earn money and make their family happy by supporting in terms of money.

By considering our population there is many families who are suffering from financial crisis and there are many kids who are being kidnapped. All these scenarios lead to Child Labor.
